Arsenal have been dubbed as a team that will fall away, or not live up to standards after going 8 seasons without a trophy, however 10 matches into the league, and with only 1 defeat, the gunners are looking better and better each week.
Osel was again instrumental as was Ramsey, as the gunners went ahead early on. Liverpool came close through SAS however a late volley from the in form Ramsey sealed the victory to see Arsenal go 5 points clear at the top of the premiership.
Manchester City were in devastating form after dropping England number 1 Joe Hart to the bench, as they went on the thrash Norwich 7-0 at Home in Eastland's. City had goal scorers from all over the park as they moved into 5th place, only 1 point behind a congested 2nd spot in the league.
Norwich fans were not impressed as the manager apologised for a terrible performance.
Chelsea travelled to Newcastle in the early kick off on Saturday and were totally outplayed as they crashed 2-0 to lowly Newcastle. Chelsea didn't play well after two fantastic performances and the manager came out later and said he should have changed all 11 players.
Chelsea are still 2nd in the league but blew a great opportunity to be only 2 points off their bitter London rivals Arsenal.
Saturdays other fixtures saw Stoke and Southampton play out a 1-1 draw with a bizarre goal coming from the other goalkeeper for Stoke. Aston Villa travelled to West Ham as the game finished in a stale mate.
West Brom were to strong for Crystal Palace and Hull defeated 9 men Sunderland 1-0. Manchester United also had a strong 3-1 victory away at Fulham after scoring 3 goals inside 17 minutes.
On Sunday, Everton hosted Spurs in a frantic 0-0 draw. Spurs were all over Everton in the first half with many chances falling to their strikers; however the 2nd half was a complete roll reversal with Everton having most of the play and all the chances.
No team could break the deadlock to keep them both in the top few positions in the league and continue their impressive starts to the season. Cardiff also won the first ever Welch premiership derby with a 1-0 win over Swansea at home. In a bitter war, both teams had chances however Cardiff were eventually crowned kings of Wales.
