It's all happening this Saturday in Sydney (1 August) for the Press Service International (PSI) young writer annual awards.
Since 2008 PSI has seen articles published in Christian Today in a young writer program which today boasts 85 such young people writing a monthly 'Comment' piece - along with occasional 'Christian News' items.
Three years ago Well-Being Australia's major sponsor Mr Basil Sellers AM agreed to provide annual generous financial awards - the previous winners were as follows:

Both years every young writer attending these conferences received (which continues this year)
- an inscribed young writer coffee mug and
- a certificate with the Panellists' choice of their respective best article.
The winners will receive a Basil Sellers cheque, a medallion and a small 25 x 30 cm art work by Tronson du Coudray.

Dr Mark Tronson is a Baptist minister (retired) who served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years (2000 ret) and established Life After Cricket in 2001. He was recognised by the Olympic Ministry Medal in 2009 presented by Carl Lewis Olympian of the Century. He mentors young writers and has written 24 books, and enjoys writing. He is married to Delma, with four adult children and grand-children.
