Studio Wildcard's action-adventure survival video game, 'Ark: Survival Evolve', is still in development stages, but its early release version is still captivating thousands of gamers across the industry. The game involves key developments of the world of dinosaurs.
The game's developer and publisher, Studio Wildcard, co-founder Jeremy Stieglitz said that the game is only in early access, yet it has sold almost 5.5 million copies of the game; to be specific, almost 1.5 million copies have been sold on Xbox One and nearly 4 million copies on PC.
Stieglitz claimed that after the launch of the game in June , last year, it has been an unexpectedly successful ride. He said after the success, the situation is now very tricky, as the game has to be as per the expectations of fans. At present, the game is in developing stages where the game developers have to think about the larger scope of it.
"The game developers have left the doors wide open related to what was originally decided in terms of features, the number of creatures, and technical difficulties."
The game director said initially when the game was launched that developers didn't even plan on having a modding support that has now evolved into a giant aspect of the game's appeal and life cycle on the computer system.
A free of charge edition of Ark known as 'Survival of the Fittest' was rolled out on PC earlier this year, but in the current week, Studio Wildcard announced that it was being removed as a standalone game and re-developed with 'Survival Evolved.'
'Ark: Survival of the Fittest' was meant for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, however, it appears this has since been changed. 'Survival Evolved' will be launched on PS4, but so far the release date has not been confirmed.
