Aussie Christian Gigs is celebrating the upcoming album launch of Aussie Hopefeaturing 13 fresh Christian artists from across Australia, with all profits from the album sales to support not-for-profit organisation, Live Connection.
Released through Unleashed Music, Aussie Hope, showcases a collection of contemporary Christian songs from Australian Christian artists, which will be released on iTunes from 11 May 2015.
The profits from album sales directly support Live Connection, an Australian-based partnership program helping local rural communities in developing nations by providing financial assistance and leadership training for pastors in rural areas within 12 developing nations across Africa, Indonesia and the Philippines.
All artists featured on Aussie Hope are part of the Aussie Christian Gigs network, which supports and links Christian musicians, bands, gigs, venues and radio stations across Australia. Aussie Hope artists include Whitefield, Elisa Kate, Luke Robinson, Bel Thomson, Elizabeth Scott, Jade Diary, Katie de Veau, Erica Bronwyn, Toni Jordan, John Newsome, Simone Waddell, Chrissie Pearce and Bec Laughton.
Aussie Christian Gigs Founder John Grinsell says the Aussie Hope album is all about Australian artists uniting together to bring hope to people in third world countries.
"Aussie Christian Gigs is proud to bring together such a unique blend of talented Christian artists from across Australia together for this special album, Aussie Hope.
"We are also excited that all profits from the album will go to Live Connection, who partner with pastors and support aid projects in third world countries, through their aid arm (Live Connection Aid)," says Grinsell.
Live Connection Director and Founder, Pastor Paul Ravesteyn, says every purchase of the Aussie Hope album directly supports the community of Zambia, Africa, as part of Live Connection Aid's latest aid project.
"The funds raised from the sale of this album will be directly used for the establishment of a Skills Training Centre in Zambia, providing a way of breaking the poverty and hopelessness cycle in this community," says Ravesteyn.
Aussie Hope CDs may be produced in coming months and made available to all organisations that wish to purchase the album and use sale profits to support their own charity or initiatives.
