NBA star Stephen Curry believes it is a 'blessing', not 'luck', to be celebrating five years of marriage with his wife, Ayesha. Curry's wife also previously credited "faith" as the key element in the couple's marriage.
The 28 year old posted a picture of the pair on Instagram captioned:
"About to start our 5th wedding anniversary trip in style! Blessed to spend life with this beautiful woman. He added 'blessed not lucky' as the hashtag in the end of the post.
Similarly, budding chef Ayseha posted a message on Instagram: "Celebrating five years of marriage, love, growth and faith. Feeling like I'm on cloud 9."
The Currys are expressive about their marriage and recently visited St. Tropez in France to celebrate their togetherness.
Ayesha has openly spoken about how the couple's "faith" helped them to recover from last year's championship loss.
In an interview with Haute Living, she said, "My faith is a foundation of everything that I do. It's what keeps our family strong and it's what keeps us going on a daily basis."
"It's what makes the losses ok. Nothing is ever really that bad."
The couple, who were married in 2011, glorified God even after the loss, with Curry's wife writing "Everything according to his plan always Glory to God."
The Golden State Warriors' player also expressed how blessed he was for his "tight-knit family."
"I'm blessed to have such a tight-knit family that we can talk about anything. Whether we talk frequently or not, since we're on separate ends of the country, there are a lot of moving parts and we always stay tight and find that centre, and that ground that keeps us together."
