Comedian Chris Rock has expressed intent to seek joint legal and physical custody of his two daughters with wife, Malaak Compton-Rock after the couple announced their split.
The Grown Ups actor filed for the divorce his wife of 19 years, which was filed two days before Christmas, but news was officially released to the public days after the holidays via the star's attorney.
Speculations now are going around regarding Malaak restricting Chris' access to their children, 12 year old Lola and 10 year old Zahra. According to reports, Malaak has been actively preventing Chris from seeing their children, which prompted the comedian to seek joint custody.
Documents obtained pertaining to the issue also detail the couple now preparing to divide property as they dissolve the marriage, with Chris submitting a signed prenuptial agreement. It also notes that the wife has the "ability to work and contribute to her own support," implying that the actor may be working towards reducing spousal support payments.
