Super Sunday was truly a shock of epic proportions as Manchester City hosted Chelsea in what was a highly anticipated contest with so much riding on the result.
Unfortunately for the neutral, Chelsea did not show up as City thumped their way to an emphatic 6-0 victory in front of an expectant City crowd.
Aguero showed why he is one of the best in the business with a hat trick whilst Sterling bagged a brace. Aguero now has 17 for the season and is the striker to beat for the golden boot.
City are now top of the table on goal difference however Liverpool do have a game in hand, Chelsea on the other hand have dropped to 6th place and pressure is starting to mount in London as Chelsea drop out of the European places.
The early Sunday fixture saw Spurs win 3-1 at home to Leicester maintaining the 5 point gap to top spot.
Liverpool got back to winning ways with a relatively comfortable 3-0 win at home to Bournemouth. Salah was instrumental as Liverpool scored twice in the first half and a third just after half time to ensure they remain in the box seat at the top of the league with a game in hand.
Saturday’s early kick off was in London to start the weekend’s round with Fulham hosting the inform Manchester United. Untied are one of the form teams of the Premier League coming into this match undefeated in 10 starts.
Untied made light work of the Londoners with a 3-0 win to take United to 4th place.
The remaining midday fixtures saw Palace & West Ham share the spoils with a 1-1 draw whilst Arsenal had a much need win away at Huddersfield town. Cardiff won 2-1 at Southampton and Watford won 1-0 at home to Everton.
Burnley won the late kick off 3-1 at Brighton moving them further out of the relegation zone.
