Nick Woodman's technology company, GoPro, is all set to feature a next entry in the Hero series of cameras, according to the latest leaked video clip posted on Reddit and Vimeo by a user, Konrad Iturbe.
The leaked copy purportedly demonstrates a tutorial for the unannounced GoPro's Hero 5 camera.
The Verge has reported that there is still speculation over Iturbe's claim he found the video tucked away in the official GoPro app under the name of the file, "add_camera_hero5.mp4".
In 2014, GoPro introduced the Hero 4 on 24 September, and since then the Hero 5 has been under works.
The Hero 5 is expected to have a new simplified touchscreen interface as well as devoted controls for the camera's Wi-Fi status, microphone, and options panel which will be made be easily accessible in a single swipe or touch.
Furthermore, the demonstration revealed the process for connecting the alleged Hero 5 to mobile devices, GoPro Smart Remotes and an unannounced system known as GoPro Sniper.
2016 has been pegged as a big year for the action camera company GoPro, in addition to the Hero 5, its Karma drone is also set to launch in coming holiday along with GoPro's Omni VR rig worth £4,200/$5,000.
