On the Eve of Hillsong Conference 2016, it is all systems go!
This year Hillsong Conference is in its 30th Year and celebrations started from the weekend with guest speakers, Pastor Steven Furtick (Elevation Church, Charlotte, North Carolina USA) and Pastor Casey Treat (Christian Faith Center, Seattle, Washington USA) across the main campus' across Sydney.
From last minute registrations to group coordination and welcoming new/visiting delegates the volunteers across Hillsong Church have started rolling out the red carpet.
This year the outline for Hillsong Conference is slightly different starting with the opener on Tuesday Night 5 July at Qudos Bank Arena (Formerly Allphones Arena), Olympic Park Sydney.
Along with the Senior Pastors, Brian & Bobbie Houston, Australian Lead Pastors, Joel & Julia A'Bell and the extended Hillsong Worship team are the following Guest Speakers this year; Pastor Casey Treat (Christian Faith Center, Seattle, Washington USA), Erwin McManus (Mosaic, LA, California), Pastor Steven Furtick (Elevation Church, Charlotte, North Carolina USA), Christine Caine (Co-Founder, The A21 Campaign) and Pastors Brian & Jenn Johnson (Worship Pastors, Bethel Church, Redding, California USA)
Master classes for the adults delegates includes the Leadership (LEAD), Creative (CREATE) and Social Justice (HELP) streams this year as outlined in the conference diary.
The conference this year is of course not just catered towards adults but also the next generation with - Young & Free Conference (Annual Hillsong Youth Conference) And Kidsong (Annual Children's Conference).
With an exciting line up like this, I am expectant for a week of the local church coming to whether united in faith under the name of Jesus Church; especially more so now than any other time in history.
