When 'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 returns this September, fans can expect the usual twisted plots and shocking revelations from the get go. The latest spoilers have revealed that Annalise and Wes' relationship will be explored further, while Bonnie, the associate attorney in Annalise's firm will have a difficult decision to make.
Wes (Alfred Enoch), who last season saw his father shot dead in front of his eyes will have things different this time with Annalise (Viola Davis).
"I think the super objective is the same for everyone but how [Wes is] perceiving the journey to it has changed so it's a very different side to him and it's a different tactic." teased executive producer Peter Nowalk. "We're going to see how Annalise's relationship with him really changes and gets grounded."
Nowalk had already signalled earlier that the show is going to answer a very important question regarding Wes' father in the first episode when it returns, and then move past it.
Bonnie (Liza Weil) on the other hand has to choose between Annalise and Frank (Charlie Weber), both of whom she has a good rapport with. "Bonnie obviously has an allegiance towards Annalise," said the EP.
"She also has quite an allegiance towards Frank so she's going to have to pick a side and it's going to stress her out and what's good is we're going to learn a lot more about the origin of her story with Annalise."
Also there is also a revelation regarding Frank's history in the third season.
There would be a time jump in the show where the Keating Five will be shown in the second year of their law school and this time they will get more prominence. They will also be shown pretty busy this season in the courtroom.
The third season of How to Get Away with Murder will air on September 22 on ABC.
