It comes around every year in August, so it can’t be Christmas (last I heard that was in December or did someone change the date?), and in case you’re on a bullet train or just sleep walking through life. I’ll help you out. It’s ‘Wear it Purple Day’ and it’s been celebrated every August for the last 10 years.
‘Hooray’ I hear you say. But what’s that got to with paedophilia, hear me out - I’ll get to that in a minute. Firstly, we need to generate some excitement about wearing purple T shirts, or maybe even shorts as well.
It’s a national event
I’d like to know what parent wouldn’t be ecstatic to discover that in every school across our great nation, their children will be tangibly supporting the victims of entrenched and institutionalised injustice. So you can be proud to know that your kids are ‘woke’.
And whom might these victims of injustice be? You guessed it, it’s none other than the multitudes of oppressed LGBT+ children in our schools. It’s been a long time, but last time I looked there were negligible to no LGBT+ confused kids, in Infants to Primary School. We’d better ask the Education Department to double down and address this shortcoming, with even more indoctrination. Perhaps bring a few Drag Queens? That might do the trick.
Now of course none of us would encourage nor support the bullying of sexual- preference confused children. We are called to love and protect the vulnerable.
The underbelly of wear it purple
Apart from Christian parents and kids being sorely compromised by ‘Wear it Purple Day’ (oh and don’t forget the gold coin donation), there’s a darker side to the WIPD organisation.
Cloaked in duplicity. On one hand, WIPD presents itself as a champion of the oppressed, and a fearless warrior for the human rights of all. On the other hand, it’s also a member of the International, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA for short), which overtly uses its formidable sway on governments and institutions across the globe to promote paedophilia, by reducing the age of consent (hmm seems to be lot of talk about consensual sex these days).
I’ll explain how in a moment. But before I do, let’s consider the size and scale of the operations of ILGA. Their dominion is worldwide taking in 166 countries (mostly Western) and it has 1705 member organisations, including our beloved ‘Wear it Purple’ group, here in Oz.
It’s an eclectic alliance, or should I say ‘diverse and inclusive’ one, which is code for every anti- God, unholy and licentious, neo-Marxist organisation you can think of.
And it’s no surprise to find that feminist groups loom large. Of particular concern is the ‘Feminist Declaration’.
We declare paedophilia is okay… but we’ll never use the ‘P’ word
Buried in the detail of this declaration are statements such as (I quote)
“The criminalisation of our identities and loves, the persecutions that we face for not conforming to gender norms, the control and violations of our bodily autonomy: they all intersect with other aspects of who we are, and leave us behind”, said Cristina Gonzalez Hurtado, Chair of the Women’s Committee at ILGA World.
Let me decipher this academic sophistry for you. Currently the law protects minors from sexual abuse, by adults, through the age of consent. But evidently according the ILGA preventing young children from exploring their sexuality, and the denying them the opportunity to experience the pleasure of sex, is another form of oppression. Consequently, they need to be liberated from institutionalised ‘gender norms’ and gain full autonomy over their bodies.
Crazy right? Nay, rather let us weep. Clause 14.a Calls on governments around the world to:
Respect the rights of all individuals to exercise autonomy over their lives, including their sexualities, identities and bodies, desires and pleasures free from all types of discrimination, …… and ensure bodily autonomy, integrity and sovereignty, by taking the following actions: a. Eliminate all laws and policies that punish or criminalize same-sex intimacy, gender affirmation, …. that limit the exercise of bodily autonomy, including laws limiting legal capacity of adolescents, ………to provide consent to sex
The push to decriminalise paedophilia has started.
ILGA is calling on governments to decriminalise consensual sex for adolescents (ages 10-19 years according to the UN) and please note they’re not promoting the marriage of minors, which does offer a degree of protection, but rather the sexual exploitation of minors.
What does the Bible have to say and how should we respond?
The biblical foundation of all human relationships is the family. ‘For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, the two shall become one flesh’. You don’t hear that preached often these days.
From here it follows that every child of this holy union is under the care and protection of their father and mother, who have decades of life experience, readily available to guide and protect their children, who have under developed pre-frontal cortexes and virtually no real-life experience, and therefore are extremely vulnerable to exploitation.
Furthermore, a child’s innocence is their birthright and as such is sacred. Jesus said‘It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin’ Luke Chapter 17, verse 2
It’s time to toss the purple T-shirt, and wear white instead, in order to show to our lost generation that purity and righteousness are the hallmarks of a follower of Jesus Christ.
