Lance Henriksen, the American actor known for his roles in action, science fiction, and most of the horror movies including the Alien film franchise, is all set to join the cast of 'Legends of Tomorrow' for its second season as the Obsidian.
Henriksen, best recognised for his character as the android Bishop in the Alien series, will be the newest member of the Justice Society of America when the series returns.
The announcement follows the recent disclosure of Power Rangers' Sarah Grey joining the team as Stargirl, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen.
DC Entertainment's Legends of Tomorrow will return on October 13 after a well received first season. The month is a busy one for the DC television world and an exciting month for fans, as Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash, all have premieres planned for the first half of October.
Recently, Arrow lead star Stephen Amell posted an ambiguous image depicting merely the bottom half of several undisclosed superheroes. A quick fan revealed Grant Gustin's The Flash, Brandon Routh's Atom, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl, Caity Lotz's White Canary, and Amell's Green Arrow all standing together. The photo seems to point to a CW DC crossover.
