A married pastor who is expecting a baby with his wife, revealed that he is 'sexually attracted to men'.
Allan Edwards, pastor of Kiski Valley Presbyterian Church, has said in an interview that he had struggles with his sexual attraction to men which started when he was in school.
According to the Daily Mail, Edwards was afraid that people would discriminate against him at Grove City College, but was surprised with the support his peers had given him.
While he first thought of joining Christian denominations which accept homosexuality, Edwards later on decided that homosexuality does not reflect his fundamental Christian beliefs.
And so, in spite his sexual attraction to men, Edwards married a woman because of his faith. The Christian couple is now expecting their first child.
In the report, the 31-year-old pastor fell in love with Leeanne, years after they first met. Despite his husband's sexual urges, Leeanne compares it to the heterosexual desires that couples experience whenever they want to cheat on their spouses.
Edwards however does not recommend all other people who have the same problem to follow in his steps. "I'm blessed to have a couple friends who also experience same sex attraction and chose to marry, some who chose to remain celibate, and some who came to disagree with me and believe that there's nothing wrong with their attraction and entered homosexual relationships."
