After 10 years being in the position of national director, Tina Waldrom will now pass the leadership of SYATP Australia to Jono Green.
Since 1999 Tina Waldrom as a female youth pastor received a clear vision from God to unite all Australian students to unite and pray at their schools, after being deeply touched by a video of high school students praying passionately for their school.
In 2000 the SYATP movement was launched Australia wide and have since gathered thousands of students to gather to pray and outreach in their respective school flagpoles.
The new director Jono Green was commended in Tina Waldrom's recent mail to be "Simply a wonderful young man with an amazing leadership capacity. We are more than confident that Jono is God's new leader for this movement."
Jono Green is also the present school resource worker at Youth For Christ and the coordinator for CROSSing Australia.
Tina Waldrom will continue her ministry with a focus in the area of evangelisation of Australia, including a church resource blog called 'Evangelism in Australia'.
