Christian Today New Zealand has a green light in 2017 which will carry Kiwi Press Service International young writers, former young writers and New Zealand Christian News.

There is room for two additional Kiwi young writers in this group with another group on the way, plus three young sport writers. This second group will include former New Zealand young writers and mission Christian news items.
Earlier start and finish
Whereas the Australian model has 5 weeks which included the Kiwi week, but this fresh Christian Today New Zealand structure has 4 week Cycles and therefore starts later and finished earlier with a free week half way through the year.
Each cycle consists of 4 weeks – there are 10 cycles so each young writer as at present, write 10 articles a year.

What this means
Editor Irenie How assigns the publishing days for each 4 week cycle, Tim Newman uploads those articles onto the Christian Today New Zealand platform.
After these 10 cycles, previous year's 'best articles' will be published from 4-29 December, while best articles of 2017 republished 1 January to 2 February.
Missions who wish to have their news articles published in Christian Today New Zealand can do so - they will go through editorial team member Liz Hay.
Dr Mark Tronson is a Baptist minister (retired) who served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years (2000 ret) and established Life After Cricket in 2001. He was recognised by the Olympic Ministry Medal in 2009 presented by Carl Lewis Olympian of the Century. He mentors young writers and has written 24 books, and enjoys writing. He is married to Delma, with four adult children and grand-children. Dr Tronson writes a daily article for Christian Today Australia (since 2008) and in November 2016 established Christian Today New Zealand.
