Recently, Nvidia launched the Geforce GTX 1070 desktop version, and is planning to follow with its mobile version too. Ahead of its launch, new leaks have revealed many specifications of the graphics card.
The recent leak says that the mobile version of Nvidia GTX 1070 has a higher performance level than its desktop version. It is also being said that mobile variant of the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 has additional CUDA cores.
A leaked screenshot by Videocardz reveals that the graphics card placed in a laptop along with details of GTX 1070 yardsticks. The card features 8 GB GDDR5 with 8 GHz memory clock which drives data via a 256-bit bus. In addition, the GTX 1070 gets more cores with 2048 CUDA cores. It is also stated that GTX 1070 is 355% faster than last mobile version GTX 960 M.
However, Fudzilla has written that in a move to make the GTX 1070 mobile version more power-efficient, it is clocked lower.
In order to give out some details about the GTX 1070 desktop version, Nvidia has used its Pascal architecture in the graphics card to make them energy-efficient. GTX 1070 desktop version is packed with 1,920 CUDA cores for heavy work duty and makes quite an advancement from the last GTX 970.
As for its mobile release, Nvidia is expected to make the big reveal on August 17 at Gamescom 2016. So far, the price of the product is not known.
