Blizzard game developers have found that the newly launched game 'Lúcioball' under the banner of Overwatch has been facing some glitches. Lucioball features three-on-three gameplay, which looks more like playing soccer in a futuristic manner with a Rocket League-esque vibe.
In Overwatch's Lucioball, only the character of 'Lucio' is programmed to play, but there have been reports coming in from the gamers that while playing the game they encounter some other character named as D. Va, Reinhardt, and others. So, if any other character except Lucio comes up in the game, then it's a bug.
However, now gamers have discovered a way to prompt the bug: it is an exploit. As with lots of such glitches, gamers use the exploiter and take its advantage. Such an issue has prompted the game director Jeff Kaplan to issue a warning on forums of the Battle.net.
Kaplan said, "Apologies for the bug, the developers are trying to fix it numerous times and have had not related issues preventing the repair. The company hopes to fix the issue within a week".
Kaplan also issued a warning saying that the company is in talks with their Customer Support group to initiate action against gamers who are intentionally applying the bug to play different roles other than Lucio.
The game director requested gamers not to exploit the glitch.
Lúcioball is a futuristic soccer game that places gamers in a fast-speed, three-on-three player match showing all characters in beat-dropping Brazilian tunes. Both teams face-off in Estádio das Rãs, situated in the center of Rio de Janeiro. The players are equipped with jump pads and speed-boosting walls, which enhances Lúcio's abilities. All games of Lúcioball end in four minutes, and highest scoring team wins.
