Owl City of Owatonna, Minnesota has released a new song in time for the Christmas season called "Kiss Me Babe, It's Christmas Time."
Adam Young from Own City, a former Coca-Cola employee in his home town Owatonna, explained on the Owl City's official website how he wanted to write and produce a cheerful song for the holiday.
"As we near the holidays I wanted to share with you a cheeky little Christmas song meant to go down smooth like a glass of eggnog. Not meant to change the world, it's just a fun piece of holiday cheer that will hark some serious heralds."
Young has achieved his goal with lyrics like "Well it's Christmas time, and I'm warm inside, despite the bitter cold. And it's crystal clear, that this Christmas cheer, is healthy for the soul."
Owl City is an electronica/pop group that was formed in Owatonna, Minnesota back in 2007. Its singer and songwriter Adam Young can play several types of musical instruments.
