A good deal of his website ministry is devoted the issues associated with the difficulties of negotiating family and personal life through the demands of Christian ministry, particularly the support they need in learning to handle difficult people carefully.
He says that there are well over 10,000 ministers (Pastors, Priests, Ministers) who are no longer in pastoral ministry.
Well-Being Australia chairman Mark Tronson, a Baptist minister of 32 years, and his wife Delma, have undertaken an annual review of their marriage with Reverend Croucher for many years now. They discuss family life, devotional life and professional ministry. This has been very helpful.
Another excellent web site for ministers, which includes a number of video series, is entitled 'Pooped Pastors', (Pooped as in exhausted, burned by church politics etc), and is led by American Presbyterian, Reverend Stephen Brown 69.
Stephen Brown refers to himself as the 'old white guy'. His voice is gravelly and deep, eminently suitable for his former profession as a disc jockey. He has a weekly Christian radio program and a Bible teaching web site.
M V Tronson is a regular writer on the subject of 'church politics'. In his view this area of church life is the most destructive for so many ministers, and deadly where one group of ministers come against another.
He says that, in his view, there is no better teaching on 'Church Politics' than this series of short videos by Stephen Brown.
"Stephen Brown is not one to mince words; he has the ability to recognise and understand the reality of what takes place in church politics," Mark Tronson observes. "He deals with an array of difficult areas and shows how to avoid them and what steps to take when confronted with them."
Moreover, M V Tronson has been on a campaign to have 'Church Politics' as part of the mandatory course work in theological seminaries, because currently too many young pastors go into the Ministry with rose-coloured glasses.
He has seen some of them cut down mercilessly by those better equipped at playing political games.
After having listened to this series of short video teachings, Mark Tronson explained, "Pastors, priests and ministers are well advised to be pre-warned and prepared.
"I urge all Christian leaders view the messages presented on this website."
