Samsung unveiled its 'Galaxy Note 7' incorporated with a curved OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screen, which doesn't just look extraordinary, but is possibly the finest phone display to ever make its debut.
DisplayMate expert Dr Raymond Soneira says that the 'Galaxy Note 7', sported with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, is set to break all high-performance records in the category of smartphone screens.
As per the specs of the phone, it has the highest peak in brightness, widest colour gamut, lowest screen reflectance rate and highest contrast ratio.
Simply put, the display screen of the Note 7 is going to be remarkably bright. The phone display would be easier to check especially with the phone in direct sunlight. The latest device from Samsung can attain over 1,000 nits of brightness.
In the comparison with the Galaxy S7, Note 7's display has 4.6% reflectance, which is the lowest experts have seen when evaluating both the devices. Galaxy S7 had been considered the best in the display as it reportedly provided a brightness of 855 nits.
Apart from its display, Galaxy Note 7 is packed with latest features including Corning Gorilla Glass 5, super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors, Android OS v6.0.1 (Marshmallow, which can be upgraded to v7.0 (Nougat), Exynos 8890 Octa chipset, 64 GB internal memory, 4 GB RAM, and a 3500 mAh battery.
The tech giant announced its Android phablet smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, on August 2. The device is likely to be rolled out on August 19 in the US, and across Europe on September 2, 2016.
