Christianity and Paganism. The main difference between them is that Paganism worships natural things that we can see, while Christianity worships Yahwah - 'I am who I am'; the God that is unseen. In fact, in the history of what we would call Pagan cultures, there is probably no natural object that has not been worshipped or treasured by someone for its beauty and majesty. Everything has its time - there is nothing new under the Sun.
It is important to know that there is nothing wrong in this. The created world is to be loved for its beauty, prized for its usefulness and received as the gift of God to His precious children. Love of the natural beauty which is the source of so much pure music, poetry and art is a good and desirable thing. There is nothing to prevent an enlightened Christian who loves God supremely from loving all things for God's dear sake.
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Today, think about these three things.
Have you ever climbed a mountain and had your breath taken away? Have you ever before smiled at a baby to have him or her giggle back on you? Have you ever held a child in your arm's and felt your heart about to burst?
It is that by looking at the Creation we can come to know the Creator so well. We can come to feel the Joy of God. We can come to see the world through His eyes of Love.
So that men are without excuse.
