The result is that, in recent months, Well-Being Australia has undertaken a series of advancements in their e-ministry by bringing their website ministry to a higher level of modernisation. This has been done with a high level of competence, both in the innovative ideas behind the new design, and in the implementation of the videos and complete 'new look' for viewing on the website.
The new ideas were gleaned from presentations at the recent Australasian Religious Press Association conference workshops, which highlighted the current trend for a major emphasis on short pithy videos.
The technical 'know-how' of translating ideas to the actual computer screen that you see was supplied by Well-Being Australia volunteer Peter Scotland, a former Channel 7 head engineer.
"The web site now provides a mix of communication methodology such as text and information, art ministry colours, media articles, newly release books, history and, of course, these new videos," M V Tronson explained.
These eight short videos are:
Mark and Delma Tronson (1 minute)
Mr Basil Sellers (1 minute)
Footplate Padre (3 minutes)
Basil Sellers Art Prize (1 minute)
Basil Sellers Moruya ministry (1 minute)
Basil Sellers Tweed ministry (1 minute)
Mark Speaks bible teachings (1 minute)
Monthly news (1 minute)
"We are updating the video equipment as, with the higher quality, 'Christian Today Australia' is pleased to incorporate the 1 minute 'Mark Speaks bible teachings' videos into their own production," M V Tronson noted.
As the number of Australians with broadband is growing exponentially so too will the uptake of the video by Christian media agencies, or they will be left behind in the race to get their message across.
"Peter Scotland tells us that over the past 18 months, our initial video, the page with our 1 minute 'Mark Speaks bible teachings' has had the highest number of 'hits' recorded on the web site," M V Tronson said enthusiastically. "This may also be because we have tapped into the small amount of 'down time' many coaches and athletes have 'one minute' to spare on a Monday morning."
