The list could go on and on. In point of fact, women's sports are regularly televised and it's a wonderful thing. Just look at the numbers of viewers who watched the Winter Olympics enjoying the Gold Medals of both Lydia Lassila in the Women's Freestyle Ski Aerials and Torah Bright in the snowboarding half-pipe event.
Two weeks back the Women's Basketball final was televised, the Canberra Capitals defeat the Bulleen Boomers for the second year running to claim a record seventh championship. Canberra trailed at every change at Melbourne's state netball and hockey centre, but scored the final six points of the match to win 75-70.
