Rick Castle is out of the NYPD, but his curious nature will not keep him away from the crime scene for too long!
Castle will return next year with the episode "Castle, P.I." and Stana Katic, the actress who plays Kate Beckett said that she is happy with the way her on-screen relationship with Castle is going.
"I think it's great that those walls finally came down and she can finally let herself be happy," she said.
Katic hinted that Castle might end at season 7, and added that she's happy to end it while things are going great.
But will the newlyweds still be happy, since they are now both private investigators with probably the same cases?
"Beckett and everybody's kind of acclimated to Rick's absence after a couple of months. Just as they have acclimated to his absence, suddenly he appears at the scene having acquired his private investigator's license," Castle Season 7 showrunner David Amann.
