Stand Tall Wednesday 1 June Luna Park, Sydney, brings together leading youth communicators with star musicians, sportsmen and other popular young successful role models from Gen Z pop culture.
They impart hope, courage to make right choices and great wisdom learned from their own life experiences.
Each will bring inspiring, personally proven strategies for making positive life choices to live happy and successful lives. They will equip students to 'Stand Tall' against the negative pressures that they can face on a daily basis.
Fourth year
Now in its fourth year, Stand Tall - The Event, will continue to feature some of the worlds most inspirational and successful young role models who will impart hope, courage to make right choices and great wisdom.
It was world champion yachtswoman Jeanine Treharne who first brought Stand Tall to my attention four years ago. Jeanine and husband Hugh Treharne the tactician on Australia II that won the Americas Cup in 1983 have been great supporters of Stand Tall.
Stand Tall is delighted to announce that world famous blind surfer, Derek Rabelo will make a special trip back to Australia in June 2016 to share his story.
Derek's month-long tour of Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Queensland in early 2015 was met with packed houses wherever he spoke and scores of TV and radio interviews and Newspaper and magazine articles.
Here are 2 links of Derek on Sunrise and the Nutrigrain Unstoppables ad.
