This time last year the United Nations approved The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It introduced 'a new universal agenda' for all mankind. (In other words, a scheduled approach to one world government). Among those who gave endorsement to the programme were US President Barack Obama and Pope Francis.
The plan bypasses US Congress and the legislatures of the world's other 193 nations. Yet, the heads of state agreed to work toward implementation, largely through secret trade deals and back room bureaucratic rule making, according to reports.
The 2030 Agenda was endorsed last month, by President Obama in his farewell speech to the UN General Assembly. "In order to move forward, we do have to acknowledge that the existing path to global integration requires a course correction,' Obama said. "We must reject any form of fundamentalism, or racism or a belief in ethnic superiority that makes our traditional identities irreconcilable with modernity. It's a truism that globalism has led to a collision of cultures,' the President continued.
Let's stop there for just a moment. Consider his reference to 'a collision of cultures.' Does this effect the free expression of Christianity? Will evangelism be labelled 'ethnic superiority"?
Martin Castro
Martin Castro, an Obama appointee, is chairman of the US Commission on Civil Rights. He released a report on September 7 that said Americans need to be protected from Bible-thumpers. In his comment he referred to "religious liberty" and "religious freedom" code words 'for discrimination, intolerance, racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, Christian supremacy or any form of intolerance," Mr Castro said.
So living as a Christian, sharing the faith and expressing biblical standards will be interpreted as 'Christian supremacy.' A simple proclamation of faith will be considered intrusive. Public prayer will be ostracised because it offends non-believers. Support for marriage according to the bible will be labelled 'homophobic.'
Rabbi Abraham Cooper is associate Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre in Los Angeles. He warned, 'hundreds of minority Bahai, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims but chiefly Christians, have no confidence that American power or policy have their backs.' It takes a Jewish rabbi to warn Christians of the plan. Interestingly he sees the agenda is aimed at 'chiefly Christians.'
At the UN, President Obama said, "The world is too small for us to simply be able to build a wall and keep it from affecting our own societies." Maybe that was a disguised crack at the Trump wall-building policy but it also begins to undermine national borders and sovereignty for all nations.
Goals and Targets
The UN has outlined their plans on a website. They list goals for 'Transforming our World – the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.' The display contains details on People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.
The Preamble declares: "All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan. We are resolved to free the human race from the tyranny of poverty and want and to heal and secure our planet. We are determined to take the bold and transformative steps which are urgently needed to shift the world on to a sustainable and resilient path. As we embark on this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind" and " The Goals and targets will stimulate action over the next 15 years in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet."
The ideals listed are lofty, even akin to paradise but the price for nations and individuals will be astronomical.
Paul Maguire, Fox News analyst and co-author of the Babylon Code wrote on his blog: 'Powerful globalists in our world, such as Rothschild, Rockefeller, Kissinger, Brzezinski, Soros, etc. are manipulating the global financial system and geopolitics in order to create a new international order. Super-billionaire George Soros essentially said, in a report from Breitbart London, that he seeks to get rid of all European borders. Soros made this remark in response to an accusation made by the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, who said that Soros was deliberately encouraging the migrant crisis now engulfing Europe."
Maybe we should consider what the bible says. "And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?
And the beast was givena mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lambwho was slain.
"If anyone has an ear, let him hear." (Rev chapter 13, verses1 to 9).
