Game of Thrones season 5 will be offering for the very first time a rare flashback scene featuring none other than the young Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), and young actress Nell Williams has been cast to play her childhood counterpart.
The flashback will feature a young Cersei and her friend visiting with an older woman called Maggy the Frog.
The website Watchers on the Wall, known for Game of Thrones breaking news and commentaries said that season 5 spoilers are hard to come by, but fans managed to notice Williams' name recently added to the show's IMDB credits.
Williams is known for her role in The Revolting World of Stanley Brown, a CBBC sitcom.
"Well, Williams is a lovely young actress, and she looks great for the part. It's interesting that she co-starred with Chapman, and now she's playing his mom," the website noted.
British actor Dean-Charles Chapman played the lead role Stanley Brown in The Revolting World of Stanley Brown, who is the next door neighbor of Jess (Williams).
In Game of Thrones seasons 4 and 5, he plays Tommen Baratheon the youngest son of Cersei and and Robert Baratheon. However, his real father is Jaime Lannister, brother of Cersei.
Another young actress who will be included in the upcoming season is Hattie Gotobed, known for her role as Lily in the film Snow White and the Huntsman.
The same website disclosed that Gotobed will play a certain character named Ghita. No other information has been available about her character, but Watchers on the Wall feels that the name belongs to Essos, and might coincide with Dany Targaryen's storyline.
"There is no further information on the part. The name feels more Essos-style. Perhaps she is somewhere in Dany's storyline, or maybe she is the ill child referred to in this casting call for the father?" guesses Watchers on the Wall.
