  • Self-care isn't selfish, but is self -love?

I feel like lately across my social media, and even on different TV shows or current event websites, there's this focus on “self-love” - loving who you are and celebrating what it means to be you.

  • The joy of worship

I have the privilege of looking after my two nieces, Tilly and Pippa, fairly regularly, and we always have a wonderful time together.

  • Easy to understand, hard to endure

I'm a big fan of the show Suits, a US series set in New York following the lives of extremely wealthy lawyers and the various lawsuits they have to deal with.

  • Magic Mike hype

I have a 'note' going in my phone where I list down ideas for articles, and this one has been on there for a while.

  • We can be heroes

The world seems to have a fascination with heroes, super humans with amazing abilities (and great outfits) who fly/run/teleport in and save the day.

  • Can Christians have their cake and eat it too?

I love food. I love to cook, I love to go out to eat, I love to look at pictures of food, and I spend a fair chunk of time thinking about what I'm going to eat next.

  • Disconnect to connect

I have just been away on a Leadership Development Course for young women, based in the pristine region of Somerset, Queensland.

  • I'm trapped in a glass cage of emotion!

There's no denying it or hiding it, I am an emotional person. I won't watch movies that I know will make me sad, I love a good belly laugh, and if I'm angry, you're going to know about it!

  • What does “being a woman of God” even mean?

I've often been baffled by what it means to be “a woman of God”. It can seem like such an abstract idea.

  • Jesus said what?!

As a new mum I spend a fair chunk of time around other mums, reading mum blogs, and articles, scrolling through family forums.
