Niantic's Pokémon GO is a new sensation in the gaming industry with its millions of downloads but, with great success comes considerable pressure too.
A recent update of the game became a trouble-maker for gamers after removal of the '3-step' display. The update led to a bit of a storm online, as it closes down the third-party apps on the device.
After facing complaints from enthusiastic players, the developer of the game, Niantic, took to Facebook to address some complaints.
The developers explained that the '3-step' display had been removed in order to enhance the underlying design.
"The original feature, although enjoyed by many, was also confusing and did not meet company's underlying product goals," they stated, adding that they would keep users posted as they strive to improve this aspect.
Furthermore, Niantic have limited the access to the third-party services that were interfering with the ability to maintain the quality of service for the game users. A large number of users has made rolling out the game around the world an interesting challenge.
Niantic also claimed that as they are heading toward a global release of the game, they are simultaneously looking at the complaints and grievances filed by the gamers, assuring its players that they are working on the game to make it smoother and glitch free.
