Respawn Entertainment's action game, Titanfall 2, will be hosting its Open Multiplayer Tech Test starting on August 19. The drive will be carried out on two weekends, 19 to 21 August and on 26 to 28 August.
The technology test would be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users, offering them up to three multiplayer modes in two maps for Titanfall's enthusiastic fans to trial to ahead of its global release on October 28.
Modes
1. Bounty Hunt (5v5): A fast-rate team-based mode where the Pilots and teammates work together against a rival team and the Remnant Fleet to destroy grunts as well as other opponents while collecting points at the bank between waves.
2. Pilots vs. Pilots (8v8): A classic mode which has Pilots standing against each other to prove their supremacy.
3. Amped Hardpoint (6v6): A twist on the classic Hardpoint Domination mode taken from the original Titanfall, where protecting a Hardpoint allows the player to strike it to score double for player's team.
The modes will have different maps including Homestead, Boomtown, and Forward Base Kodai, where the players can access two freshly introduced Titans: Scorch and Ion.
The game will also have options of new primary weapons to choose from when the players will be battling. The new weapons include Alternator, Mastiff, Epg-1, R-201 and more. The game also offers various new features, which are called Networks.
Titanfall 2 is set to officially release on October 28 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
