Luis Armando Gomez brings invaluable expertise having served in numerous LWFCI Olympic outreaches. His task in London is handling all "Team Member" relations as well as daily distributing Command Centre Chairman (Kim Parker) daily assignments in fulfilling ministry at 12- 15 Churches each and every night.
A native of Mexico now residing in the United States – provided outstanding leadership for Lay Witnesses for Christ for almost a decade. He has experience in the multi faceted ministry outreach programs and though beginning as a young man exhibited great maturity and was driven to reach the lost for Christ! Not only has he participated as a former athlete in schools and the high profile Evening with the Stars in the Caribbean, Mexico and the United States but handled the advance preparatory work…
However, Luis Gomez' greatest ministry accomplishment was to have been selected by Dr. Mings as the youngest Chairman ever for the 'Reach-Out' during the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
Luis has organised and executed many different mission trips to different parts of Latin America and has watched hundreds of people come to know Christ as their Saviour. All of the mission trips had different approaches: Choir Mission Trips; Construction Mission Trips; Films and Evangelism Mission Trips; Educational Mission Trips; Summer School Mission Trips; Medical Mission Trips - while always utilising the Sports' platform to "ATTRACT" the crowd and maximise the effectiveness!
Luis believes in supporting the local churches and always creates a network within them so that they will always not on portray a unified front but to ensure adequate follow-up.
Luis provides a clear vision about the ministry's unique platform to reach and utilise the Christ centred athletic community to help make a strong impact in other people lives throughout the world.
'We are thrilled God has orchestrated His Choice Servant – Senor Luis Armando Gomez for such a time as this," noted Dr Sam Mings.
