Well over a hundred Lay Witnesses For Christ International (LWFCI) missionaries from around the world, many of them former Olympic athletes, are converging on London and will arrive at either Heathrow or Gatwick Airports.
Who will be there to meet them individually and transport them to the Olympic ministry's headquaters at the Kingsway International Christian Centre right in the centre of the Olympic buh?
Answer: One of Theo Anguah Afram's team members – the transport division of the LWFCI "Bridging the Gap, UK Outreach 2012".
Moreover whenever LWFCI team members need to be somewhere or transported to any of the evening outreaches, who will be doing this vital task? The same people. Is there any more vital group of servants of the Lord than these?
Background
Theo Anguah Afram was born born into a middle class family over four decades ago. He had a very strict up-bringing in a home where you have no excuse for not wanting to go to church.
"I saw church as part of me. In my early years, I joined the Boys Brigade, I was a Christian that recognised the value of such agencies of the church which brought one so young closer to God. This helped my understanding the moral discipline of my parents.
"I had my secondary education in a mission school and started singing when I was only three, something which I still enjoy in serving the Lord.
"In sports I competed in various senior level of school athletics but my passion was 'fashion' and I studied Fashion after my secondary education.
Service to the Lord
"My heart's desire is to work as a servant in the house of God and I have this lingering urge to one day bring what I have in my training, professional life to full time Christian service.
"Currently I am a trainee Pastor and a worker of my church, Powerland Chapel International, I'm under the mentorship of Bishop and Pastor (Mrs) Kingsley Akoto-Bamfo.
"I am a very keen member of the church choir. I'm married to my wife Cynthia and three amazing kids Amanda, Jannelle, and Cyril Theo Jnr,
Olympic Service
"With Gods help, I'm physically and spiritually able to carry on with my service for the success of the LWFCI Olympic mission (Bridging the Gap, UK Outreach 2012) then the call was made to serve the Lord's people as Transport Director.
"This was a big, a huge task, I feared the role as it was such an awesome responsibility. No one likes to be left waiting at the airport. No one wants to be late for an outreach meeting. Juggling vans and drivers – that's a tall order.
"I prayed to the Lord for the strength to serve him with all my heart in this endeavour for it is part of the strategic planning for our evangelism in London for the duration of the Olympics. My wife Cynthia and I decided, to place God first and his direction as to how to go about this daily task of not only being Transport Director but being part of the wider objectives, seeing souls into Jesus' Kingdom.
"I believe that young people have an amazing capacity to understand the ways of God", Theo Anguah Afram exclaimed.
