Evangelist Franklin Graham has expressed his concerns on allowing Muslim refugees into the U.S.
Referring to the latest church attack in France, Graham pointed out that allowing tens of thousands of Muslims in the country may lead to similar attacks on Christians.
The President of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association wrote on Facebook:
"President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and some other politicians want to allow tens of thousands of Muslim refugees into this country. A few days ago two Muslim men went into a Catholic Church in France in the name of ISIS and brutally slit the throat of an 85-year-old priest."
"The self-proclaimed ISIS soldiers shouted 'Allahu Akbar' as they ran from the church. Unless something is done, it's just a matter of time before we see this happen here in the United States," he added.
The 64-year old, referred to an article published on New York Post titled "We have failed to protect Christians from Islamic terror."
The hard-hitting article gave base to Graham's remarks.
"We ignored the Islamist slaughter of Christians elsewhere. When Coptic Christians were murdered in Egypt, we dismissed it as an internal matter. When Christians were butchered in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa, we merely shrugged", the author himself answers to the question of "How, exactly, did we help kill that priest?"
Meanwhile, a senior Catholic cleric said that just few a days after the horrific priest killing, Hamel's parish, the Church of Gambetta in the French town of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, had donated land to Muslims to build a mosque. The Church is one among the ISIS hit-list from 2015.
