M V Tronson's monthly schedule is already fully programmed. He will be travelling to Western Australia in May for interviewing Australian Christians for the Australian Missionary News IPTV, and undertaking two trips for his Art Ministry in August (Melbourne) and October (Moruya) to attend presentations of art prize donated by one of his benefactors, Mr Basil Sellers.
For his respite ministry, he will be visiting the Northern Territory in June, the Australasian Religious Press Association conference in Hobart in September undertaking a Country Town Tour in November in Queensland.
At home, he will be hosting a New Zealand ministry team on a study tour run by Well-Being Australia's Respite ministry in April, assisting their visits to Tweed Heads, Brisbane, Canberra and Moruya.
Somewhere in this busy schedule M V Tronson is weighing up four quite separate overseas mission invitations. He has been invited to India in March-April to help lay the groundwork for sports coaching clinics later in the year.
In those same months he has been invited to France, during which time he would visit those Australian World War I battle sights which interest him. He could co-ordinate a visit to Israel with this visit, as he already has established interests in Jewish ministry.
He has an invitation to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup of Soccer and the Baptist World Congress in Hawaii at the end of July. (Mark Tronson has been a delegate at the last two of these, in Birmingham in 2005 and Melbourne in 2000)
It only gets busier. Next year 2011 there will more than likely be a preparatory conference planning for the London 2012 Olympic ministry and another invitation to France. In anticipation of these important trips, M V Tronson may need to put on hold any overseas travel in 2010.
As an evangelist, one could be on the international circuit every month of the year. However, that is only one aspect of Mark Tronson's ministry. He must carefully weigh up the competing, but equally as important, demands of his domestic ministries.
In the eighties and early nineties M V Tronson travelled internationally extensively. He was younger then. He easily coped with the demanding schedule of preaching, taking seminars, speaking at conferences (South Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and the Americas). In recent years, he has reduced such travelling ministries to what might be termed 'core essential'.
In this way, he has been able to fully enjoy some of the highlights of this exciting part of his ministry, without it becoming too stressful on his mind and body. He notes, now, that his wife, Delma, is wanting to stay put more and he is less willing to travel overseas without her.
In 2009 he and Delma were in Vancouver consulting with the Winter Olympic Villages managers on Religious Services. They spent a week ministering in Los Angeles with Coaches of Influence and then travelled to Dallas to receive an international award for their 27 years of ministry, presented by Olympian of the Century, Carl Lewis.
In 2006 and 2008, Mark Tronson focussed on ministries in New Zealand; and in 2005 he travelled to Eastern Europe, Poland and the UK. In between these busy schedules, he nominated 2007 as a year of concentrating on domestic ministry. There is every possibility 2010 might follow that same schedule.
