The iOS 10 public beta, unveiled by Apple at WWDC 2016, is now available for non-developers.
With this exciting new release, we've put together a list of some of the best new features developed by the tech giant.
Rich lockscreen notifications
Notifications are now broken up, and the 3D Touch function can be used to show hidden menu actions. You will also be able to reply to messages without having to go into the phone's message app.
Clear all notifications button
Clear all old notifications with 3D Touch in iOS 10, instead of having to swipe or dismiss them one by one.
Opening 3rd-party apps through Siri
The biggest change to Siri is that you will be able to open non-Apple apps and functions via voice control.
Maps remembers where you park your car
If you have CarPlay, iOS 10 will remember where you've left your car. Apple maps remembers when you disconnect your iOS device from the car's Bluetooth.
Raise to wake
Apple redesigned its hand-held device lockscreen. Slide to unlock is gone and replaced with simple instructions: "Press Home to open."
When users raise their phone, it will awaken, which fixes the issues of blowing past the lockscreen notifications when you hit the fast TouchID home button.
Home App
HomeKit is now available to iOS 10 and Apple Watch owners. The new apps will appear directly right on the homescreen. You will be able to do pretty much everything from your phone, including changing the temperature or lighting.
There are many more new features asides from these. If you are curious to test them out and can't wait for the official release, head to the Apple official page for more details on how to get your hands on it.
The software is only compatible on the iPhone 5S and above, iPad 3 and above, as well as the iPod Touch 6th gen as previous devices do not have lightning connections, and only have 512MB of RAM, meaning users of such devices will need to stick with iOS 9 for now.
The official version of the iOS 10 is rumored to be released this fall.
