Moylan replaced Skott Linebrink in the top of the seventh inning, and proceeded to chew through the Yankees line-up with three successive strikeouts. It was Moylan's third appearance for the Braves at Spring Training.

Teammate and Melbourne Aces infielder Justin Huber also played his part for the Twins, replacing shortstop Alexi Casilla in the bottom of the eighth inning, and stayed in the game at first base.
