Original series are now coming to CBS All Access, starting with the upcoming season of CBS's Big Brother, which is set to air this fall on SVOD service.
Big Brother Season 19 will reportedly be 10 weeks, a little shorter than its predecessors that ran for typically 13-14 weeks.
According to the Deadline, the new season will start shortly after the conclusion of Season 18 on September 21.
Speculation about a season debuting in fall began when the casting process was quietly launched last week. The show's official website continues to accept applications.
CBS no doubt is now looking forward to building on the success of Big Brother 24x7 live feed access, though it is still unclear how live eviction episodes of season 19 will be presented on the digital platform.
With 'Big Brother', CBS All Access will become the first subscription streaming service launching a competition reality series, beating out Netflix, whose global obstacle course competition show by Sylvester Stallone, 'Ultimate Beastmaster' is now filming.
Previously, CBS All Access was to be launched alongside the January premiere of upcoming original drama series Star Trek: Discovery. With Big Brother Season 19, the platform will keep the schedule of one new series every 3 to 4 months but will move the kickoff up by a quarter.
