Is Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul really cast as Hans Solo in the spin-off film for Star Wars?
Making Star Wars site's editor-in-chief Jason Ward, reported that "the word around current production at the Pinewood is that Aaron Paul is looking to be attached to the first 'Star Wars' spin-off film in some fashion."
"There was no direct implication he was playing Han Solo," it added.
Ward also said that the "story of Han Solo is being planned after Star Wars: The Force Awakens under the code name 'Luminac Industrial Goods'" and the filming will eventually overlap with the eighth instalment of the Star Wars franchise.
The International Business Times however warned that "fans must note that none of the associated people have confirmed the news. Thus, in the absence of official comments the report remains unconfirmed and must be considered a rumor."
Han Solo has been played by actor Harrison Ford in the original Star Wars films. The actor will be reprising the role for the fifth time in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The film also stars John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 18, 2015.
