In a recently conducted study by HeyLets, California was hailed the capital of self-promotional social media posts in the entire US. Heylets is a city guide app which is powered by user reviews. Its latest study checked which US state had the most self-promotional trends.
They surveyed 2,500 Americans who are all social media savvies on their tendencies to show off via social media networks. The publicity subjects varied from work related great news like tweets about how lucky a person is because of a promotion to special trips such as Instagram album of getaway pictures.
California got the highest percentage of residents who regularly create self-promotional social media posts. This state gathered 77 percent of the habitually engaged respondents. Basing on the survey results, California's figure is over three times as much as Utah, the modest US state.
