Captain America actor, Chris Evans was bent on spreading holiday cheer to 9 year old Kenny Botting.
Playing a real life hero, Evans pays a visit to Botting who is battling a brain tumor. A Connecticut local, Botting is currently staying at Boston's Chrispher's Haven, a housing facility dedicated for children undergoing cancer treatments located next door to Massachusetts General Hospital.
Evans who is a Massachusetts local himself is in his hometown for the holidays and a recent fund raising event for Christopher's Haven at Fenway Park. For his visit, he brought the young Botting signed DVDs and posters and played heroes and villains with him, allowing Botting to tie him a chair.
"It's their strength that gives me strength," Evans said. "No matter what hurdles are in my life, it's nothing compared to what these families go through, so any way I can bring a smile it's worth it."
Evans is expected to reprise his role as Captain America in 2015's Avenger's: Age of Ultron and will be unveiling his directorial debut, Before We Go, in 2015.
