Exuberant Christian artist Kat Krick has put a new genre in the Christian music scene.
By mixing dance beats and adding them skillfully with Christian lyrics, Kat Krick created what could very be well known as the Christian Electronic Dance genre.
"Dancing is indeed a form of worship, so why is there not music to facilitate that kind of worship? I asked myself that question, and shortly after, found my calling. It felt like pieces of a puzzle falling together. I always loved singing, dancing and performing but I never had a clear direction until now," Kat Krick said.
The lyrics of her song have the same upbeat message as her beats. "Perfect Love", the artist's new single, is full of lyrics that exalt God's love and how His Divine Love is stronger than any troubles life brings.
The artist admitted to liking secular dance songs but ended up deeply disappointed when she found out what most dance songs say in their lyrical content.
"There's so much pop and dance music out there that send negative messages. I'm making music that enhances the experience of a listener who loves God, one that is both catchy and positive. I hope 'Perfect Love' will be the first of many dance songs to give hope, celebrate love, and help express praise."
"Perfect Love" has been playing on mainstream national radio since November last year and was met with critical acclaim.
