Coldplay fans, this is sad news indeed.
The band's frontman and lead singer Chris Martin let on during an interview with BBC Radio 1 that their seventh album, tentatively called A Head Full of Dreams, might be their last.
He even compared it to the Harry Potter series, which also numbered at seven.
"It's our seventh thing and the way we look at, it is like the last Harry Potter book or something. Not to say there might not be another thing one day but this is the completion of something," he said.
Martin explained that they have to think of the album as their last in order for them to go all-out in music production.
"I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it. Then we will go on tour," he said.
Martin's revelation came right after his recent cross-over performance, when he and Bruce Springsteen filled in as lead singers for Bono during U2's World AIDS Day benefit concert last December 1.
