It seems like working in a group is set to bring out the team spirit in Matt Murdock and that will directly affect things in Daredevil season 3. Yes, you read it right. The Man Without Fear will be fighting crime alongside Luck Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Danny Rand (Finn Jones) in Netflix's The Defenders series.
"He can't do all this alone. And that's to say maybe some teamwork – He's actually going to relinquish [some responsibility]. So whatever lessons he learns in The Defenders will then play into I think season three," teased Charlie Cox at the Wizard World Chicago panel, while speaking about the third installment of Daredevil.
So does this mean Karen Page and Franklin "Foggy" Nelson will reunite after Matt shut them down in the previous season? Well, according to a report, Elden Henson who plays Foggy is confirmed to return to the series in unknown capacity with Daredevil apologizing to him for his behavior. The season 2 finale also closed with Daredevil finally revealing himself to Karen, which also opens the way for her to work together with the vigilante in some capacity.
According to Screencrush, Daredevil might also get in touch with Frank Castle aka The Punisher to fight danger in season 3.
So it seems like Daredevil is going to learn a lot about team work from The Defenders and implement it into his night life.
But fans will have to wait for now as Daredevil season 3 is reportedly slated for 2018 as of now, while The Defenders will premiere 2017.
