Japanese role-playing game developed by Heartbeat and ArtePiazza, Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, is all set for release on Nintendo 3DS on September 16 in the US and Europe. As the release date approaches, new videos and information has surfaced giving a preview of the game's battle system, exploration, and story line.
In 2012, Square Enix declared that they are in the process of remaking the game especially for the Nintendo 3DS console. However, it was rolled out in Japan in February 2013. While, in the November 2015 Nintendo Direct revealed that Dragon Quest 7 will be moving out of Japan in 2016.
The Nintendo 3DS remake sees gamers take a trip to the earlier period to restore forgotten lands and encounter a mysterious evil in efforts to protect the current world. The game offers more than 30 vocations or classes and classic turn-based fights entirely with latest spells and capabilities to learn.
The game story revolves around characters including Hero, Kiefer, Maribel, Gabo, Melvin and Aira, with the tale beginning when the protagonist's father brings home a map portion from a fishing trip; the map put forward to the character and his companions that the world had numerous continents, however, presently there is merely a tiny island of Estard and from there the quest begins.
