Nintendo will be re-launching the classic Duck Hunt on Christmas day.
Beginning of the Christmas holiday, the game will be available throughout the Virtual Console service. Players can use a Wii remote in the position of the recognisable orange-and-gray NES Zapper light gun. This worked with the original one. This can create a balance to Wii U's new releases such as Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and the Super Smash Bros.
News about its price is unclear, although NES games are normally priced for about $4.99 through the Virtual Console. This is considered a small price when paying for a classic game. Just bear in mind that this is actually a straight port of the original one, still shooting the dog is not allowed.
The game Duck Hunt was initially launched in 1976 for Arcades. This was popular as a starter on game for the NES in US and was in fact packaged with the console. Following that event, it was launched as a Super Mario Bros' combo; afterwards it was released with World Class Track Meet as part of the 3-game combo. Its game play drawn in shooting virtual ducks and the faithful hunting dog will flush it out. Once the player misses 5 or more ducks, the game is over and the dog laughs.
But if a player hit more than 5, his level will advance to the next. There are 3 modes available, only one duck every time, 2 ducks at once and clay shooting which involves shooting clay disks out of the sky before they land on the ground. The shooting game in Wii Play has a tendency to be based on Duck Hunt. If you hit all the ducks, you obtain a bonus prize.
Duck Hunt's fans will find another exciting way to celebrate the holidays.
