Final Fantasy XV is reportedly getting a DLC season pass which will allow players to download additional content. The listing appeared on the PlayStation Store today.
Developer Square Enix has not yet commented on the upgrade, nor has there been any announcement about the price of the season pass.
According to gaming website Polygon, the pass won't go on sale until the release of Final Fantasy XV, which is slated to launch on September 30.
Nonetheless, a digital premium edition is available on the PlayStation Store that includes the pass went up for pre-order today for $84.99.
Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata told Gematsu that the game's downloadable content plans were "pretty much finalized," and that it would include "additional story content, costumes, as well as things that don't fall into those categories that fans will be excited to see."
According to the PlayStation Store listing, the season pass is a "special deal for customers who have already preordered the Final Fantasy XV digital edition."
Final Fantasy XV is an action role-playing video game, the fifteenth of the Final Fantasy series installment which promises to be "providing a darker atmosphere that focuses on more realistic environments and human characters than previous entries."
The game takes place in a world similar to modern-day Earth called Eos, with two main characters Noctis Lucis Caelum and Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
