'Have you ever?' singer Brandy Norwood feels a sense of security knowing that she is in God's hands after overcoming two years of depression.
Brandy, as she is known among her fans, fought both personal and career issues with the help of God.
"The everlasting arms suggest divine protection, complete certainty, and the assurance that all is well with the soul. And how could it be otherwise, since the spirit of humankind is God," read a post she shared on Facebook from the book 365 Science of Mind: A Year of Daily Wisdom by Ernest Holmes, which deals with finding security in God.
Her post was seen by her millions of fans on her Facebook page.
The singer, who also acted in sitcoms like Moesha, drastically lost faith in herself and God when her career didn't shape up as she thought it would be, but she was able to find herself a Christian foundation.
In an interview with NewYork.com last year, she said, "At the end of the day, I stopped believing in myself and I started to lose faith in God and what He blessed me with. I stopped believing."
"Now, I'm dreaming again and I believe that any and everything is possible. It took a while for me to get to this place, but I'm here now and I'm never going to stop believing ever again."
Brandy accidently killed a woman while driving in 2006. She confessed that that tragic incident ultimately strengthened her faith in God.
