Superpowers
Some of us do believe in superheroes, reading through fiction books all through my childhood, always inspired me to be one of them. The recent Marvel movies make me crave more for superpowers to do whatever I want to do without any dependency.
All these fiction heroes are a mutant version of humans. Sometimes I think I can be one of them and save the world. These mutations are not like having extra fingers but rather, the kind that empowers you to do amazing things. The issue is society views any transformations as something that is unique as well as alarming. Thus, individuals possessing any power, are avoided and even get mistreated. So, they don’t want them to be exposed to society.
In the series of these movies, we encounter almost the same version of saving the world from evil. The ending is always a happy ending defeating evil. But the real-life of that hero is simple as he does not expose himself to the world as a superhero.
God still loves us, even if we are not perfect
God consistently pick individuals who aren't actually ideal examples with completely flawless pasts.
Let me give you a few examples:
Joseph came from a family that was so dysfunctional that his brother sold him, yet God chose to save His people from famine through him.
Abraham had a serious habit of lying, but he was chosen to be the father of faith.
Moses had a severe stammering problem but represented as God’s spokesperson. Not losing the fact that Moses was a murderer. God even picks individuals whose "changes" are their very own consequence sins and terrible decisions.
God chose Rahab for a starring role in the Bible. She was a prostitute.
He is merciful to choose messy people with problems. God’s strength is your power over any weakness.
Your weakness is God’s power
God made the church to be a place of refuge for these mutants, to be adored for their individuality, for who they are. Let the church and the congregation acknowledge and figure out how to utilize their capacities to turn out to be essential for a group with the mission of saving the world.
He doesn’t only polish our abilities and attributes that can be utilized to glorify God’s name. God has the power to recuperate our shortcomings and use them to mend the world and attract individuals to Him. God is fulfilling all His promises through the Bible.
Our shortcomings
You might be considering how God may see strength and retrieval in our shortcoming?
Possibly you’ve fought with any kind of addiction. Be that as it may, God has or will lead you through recuperation so he can hold you up to companions battling with a question to act as an illustration of how he can carry extraordinary mending to an individual's life.
Perhaps you endure or have endured with discouragement. God may remove it from you, yet perhaps he will not. It very well may be that God will not totally remove it, yet he will in any case make you an alternate individual. You will have a fundamental euphoria that individuals can see, even amidst the gloom. Individuals will see that distinction and they'll give their lives to God as a result of it and start following Jesus every day.
“Profound endowments”
The Bible says that every one of us has extraordinary capacities. The Bible alludes to these capacities as "profound endowments." Such as the capacity to energize individuals, educate, lead, or show compassion. These may seem like basic capacities, yet when God engages them, we become equipped for doing things we would never do all alone.
Since we can't do it single-handedly, God puts us in a group. God consolidates us, tells us the best way to offer beauty to other people, and enables a group that really can flip around the world.
“… and whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians Chapter 3 verse 17).
I used to think you had to be special for God to seek you, but now I know you simply need to say yes.
