As fans await the sequel to Disney's hugely successful animation Frozen rumors about the movie have emerged suggesting that the second installation will be darker and have an adult-themed storyline.
If the first movie was all about sister's love and bonding, the second might take an ugly turn with Anna, voiced by Kristen Bell, plot against the queen of Arendelle Elsa, voiced by Edina Menzel, and the reason has been linked to power.
"We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it," Menzel reportedly told E!News. "That's all I know—unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes."
Though it is not confirmed whether she actually teased the storyline of the 2013 film's sequel, many fan-made theories started surfacing. One of those suggested that the loving Anna may even go to the extent of killing Olaf (Josh Gad) the talking snowman, to get rid of Elsa more easily.
Going by this theory, it seems like Anna might actually get rid of her goody two-shoes image and pounce on Elsa for the crown.
And the long list of spoilers gets weirder with one theory stating that Anna is an illegitimate child and that Tarzan is the long-lost brother of the sisters, making him another heir of the kingdom.
There is also buzz about Elsa being a lesbian, but Disney has not commented upon it yet.
Fans do have to hold on to their exhilaration to know the real plot, as reports also suggest that the production of the film has been delayed due to larger projects like Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid.
Frozen 2 does not yet have an official release date, but it is speculated to arrive some time in 2018.
