Have you ever experienced the feeling of falling while you sleep?
What causes jerking or falling sensations during sleep? According to Google, this phenomenon of involuntary muscle movement while sleeping is called sleep myoclonus also called hypnic myoclonus, and happens during sleep transitions as you shift from one sleep phase into another. I have experienced this before often. I woke up all of a sudden because I'm afraid to fall. I bet you too.
Friends are a gift from God.
A few months ago, we went to our workmate's place. It was a long ride for us. It took more than 3 hours to get there. We arrived around 8 in the evening. The family of our workmate accommodated us they are amazing and kind people.
After dinner, we shared thoughts and talked about our lives and I believe this bible verse "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing." (1 Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 11).
Since our colleague also inform and encourage us to apply for a higher position. I thank God for He gave me these amazing friends. Human as we are, we need good friends – somebody to lean on, to talk to, and to witness the goodness and faithfulness of God in our lives. After that good conversation, we went to our bed and get sleep.
Awesome Ocean I saw
An ocean symbolizes calmness, peace, spirituality, and emotional balance. The moving ocean waves know a lot about your inner feelings. The ocean can be seen as an emotional symbol. Many people regard the waves on the oceans to represent emotions.
Early morning, we went to the ocean. As I looked at the ocean with its crystal clear water, feel the sea breeze that touched my face. I wasted no seconds as I ran hurriedly and dived into it while wearing eyeglasses! We played with the waves as if we were kids. We stayed under the sun for a long time.
Beach vacation is always so fun right? Do you agree?
Having sandy toes, feel the ocean breeze and tanned skin due to sun exposure. We felt happy as we played with the waves, and stared at the vast ocean. I thanked God for He created this and praise be to God. All things He created revealed, What He is able. He is the God who made a way when there seems to be no Way.
I just recall that God parted the Red Sea to give way to His people. Seeing the ocean will always remind me that God will never let his people fall. God is a way maker and a miracle worker. Thank you Abba Father.
God hold my hand.
In that certain place where tourists always visited the light house, we did too! My friends and I took a lot of pictures on the way to the light house because the view was so amazing. Finally, we arrived at the Light house and we were suddenly speechless because of the beauty of the vast ocean! Wow was the only thing we said.
Then, my workmate and I went up to a hill when suddenly I slipped near the cliff. I was so scared to death because I was near to the edge of the cliff but I know and felt that God held me and I did not fall.
All Glory to God that without him I cannot imagine my life. My heart raced at that moment. I was terrified and speechless.
As we leave that place, I realized from that experience that God is always with us. Wherever we are, God will always save us and deliver us from any trouble.
And this bible verse from Psalms Chapter 18 verse 36 came into my heart: “Thou hast also enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip”.
We need to always remember that God will not let us fall for He is always with us. He will not let your feet slip just like what He has done for me. As what. Joshua chapter 1 verse 9 says, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, Neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest”.
Do you feel that you walk alone? Know that God is always with us. All we need is to keep our faith in Him. God's love is steadfast. God will show his love in so many different ways. Whenever you feel you're falling, always know that God is able to hold your hand. God bless you. Remember, God loves you so much!
